Safety tool for discharging a 10,000 µF capacitor charged to 72V potential, used to open doors in the event of a power cut inside a train body. Operator safety box for door maintenance.
Coupling test
Tool used to check the correct flow of information between the different carriages of a train.
Contact brush test
Wireless tool used to simulate, from the cab, the appearance and acknowledgement of information from the track. The tool is placed under the train and simulates contact between a wire brush and a "Crocodile", which usually ensures ground-train communication.
GAPS strip
A tool for checking that platform laser detection systems are working properly, day and night. The GAPS system manages the deployment of access gangways for people with reduced mobility.
